The salary of the e-sports coach
Although it is becoming more democratic, the profession of e-sports coach is not yet really recognized in France. Because of this, it is not easy to determine an average salary.
The profession is, however, better developed in the United States. The annual salary of an e-sports coach ranges from $30,000 to $50,000.
Professional developments of the e-sports coach
Once he has accumulated enough experience, the e-sports coach has the possibility of moving towards logistical and managerial functions. He will have, for example, the choice between the jobs of caster, e-sports manager, etc.
If he wishes, he can also create his team or retrain as an e-sports match commentator.
According to the results of a study by the France e-sport Barometer 2018, there are 2 million gamers in the country. After their career, some of them will become e-sport coaches to pass on their knowledge.
